Math

    In math we are finishing our unit on fractions.  When we return from spring break, we will do a quick review (2 or 3 days) of fractions and then take the test.  We will then begin our unit on multiplying larger numbers.  Keep practicing multiplication and division facts.  It will make a huge difference throughout this next unit.  Also, don't forget to review the basic addition and subtraction facts.  We use these in multiplying and dividing larger numbers also.

Language Arts

     In science we are studying electricity.  We have been doing investigations about both static and current electricity.  Ask you child about different types of circuits.  They may be able to rewire your house over break.
