Introduction
Art is found all around us in architectural
styles. You will research the American Styles of Architecture
from the 17th Century to the present, learn the characteristics
of the styles in each time period and discover the impact
historical events had on them.

Task
Develop a project that:
Examines the development of architectural styles throughout history.
Identifies the architectural characteristics of each architectural style.
Considers how prosperity, mass production, and technology are related to the various periods.
Process
1. For each of the following architectural
styles given:
- Identify the prominent architectural features in a particular time period.
- Locate a picture that contains these architectural features and is representative of the time period.
- Discuss why this picture fits into the time period.
- Discuss how prosperity, mass production and technology are related to the various time periods
2. Using the links provided, as well as the ones you find, collect the picture and information that you need to complete the project.
3. Decide how you are going to present the project.
