Project Lead The Way Comes To Normal West!!
| Project Lead The Way is a sequence of classes designed to
prepare high school students for the rigor of engineering and
engineering schools. The first course offered at Unit 5 is
"Introduction to Engineering Design" and introduces students to
the way that engineers design and document ideas and projects.
Since these courses were designed by engineers and engineering
colleges, the activities are "real world" in nature and allows
the student to experience the way engineers think and work. More Project Lead The Way courses will be available to students in the future. Please visit the national PLTW website (www.pltw.org) for more detailed information about the organization. |
