spirit and athletic programs by volunteering 40 hours within a year?
You may ask, how can I volunteer 40 hours within a year to a single sport?
Instead of volunteering your time to a single sport, why not volunteer your
time to the Normal West Booster Club throughout the year. This could include
volunteering to be a parent representative, working the concession stands,
selling fifty-fifty tickets, working at the pancake breakfast and various
other activities. You would be surprised how quickly the hours add up
The State Farm™ Companies Foundation Good Neighbor Grant Program awards a
$500 grant on behalf of each eligible employee, agent or retiree who
volunteers a minimum of 40 hours a year to an eligible nonprofit
organization.
A grant request for a public school is sent directly to the school district
for distribution to a specific school or program by simply including this
information in the Purpose field of the new on-line form.
This form takes just minutes to complete on-line and you receive an e-mail
confirmation of your request within minutes. Completed applications must be
received by March 31 of the following year in which services were
volunteered.
