This is an official notice that a proposed amendment will be voted on. The proposed amendment is to change the official name of SCOPE to Normal Community West High School PTO. It shall be voted on at the next regularly scheduled meeting, Tuesday, May 13, 2008.

Please send or take your membership contribution (Checks made out to SCOPE) to the school office in an envelope marked "SCOPE."  Enclose a note with your name(s) and your student(s)' name(s), *phone number, address, and email along with your donation.  *If you do not want this information shared in our directory, please let us know.

SCOPE has recently opened a school store at the front entrance into Normal West.  Please stop by and check out all of the clothing and spirit items that are available.

Spirit Clothing is now available through the web!!! If you are interested in Normal West Spirit Clothing, but just can't go to the school during the School Store hours, you can now print off an Order Form, send it into the school office, and you will be called when your order is ready for pick up. If you have any questions, please call Wendy Speight at 820-1026 or email her at wvsconsult@aol.com. Spirit Clothing and other items can also be purchased at the School Store, which is open every school day from 2:45 - 4:00. Feel free to come in and look around at all of the various items that display the Normal West logo!!!

* Help purchase inventory and/or sell NCWHS Spirit Clothing.  (Contact Marilee Wehrenberg at 452-2563)

* Help purchase food supplies and inventory food products.

* Work a 2:45-4:00 shift one day a week (or 2 days a month) at the school store.

Production:

*Work copying machine (instructions are given) to make copies for classes.

Chaperone Dances:

*Help at a dance or dances during the year.

IMC (Library):

*Help collect textbooks at the end of each semester.  (We need LOTS of people for 2-3 hour shifts over 3 days).

Cookies/Food Donations:

*These are needed a few times each year.  (Call Patti Bushong at 454-1651 to help in this area)
