The Normal West PTO has two membership options:
(donations are tax deductible)
$25 Membership and "No Hassle"
Fund Raiser
$5 Membership Only
Please send or take your
membership contribution (Checks made out to Normal
West PTO)
to the school office in an envelope marked "PTO."
Enclose a note with your name(s) and your student(s)'
name(s), *phone number, address, and email along
with your donation. *If you do not want this
information shared in our directory, please let us
know.

Spirit Wear
is available at the Wildcat Den, located across from
the office at Normal West.
If you have any questions, please call Karen
Burge at
Spirit
Clothing and other items can also be purchased at
the School Store, which is open every school day
from 2:30 - 3:15.
Feel free to come in and look
around at all of the various items that display the
Normal West logo!!!

Volunteer Opportunities: |
School Store:
Contact

* Help
purchase inventory and/or sell NCWHS Spirit
Clothing.
* Help purchase food supplies
and inventory food products.
* Work a 2:30-3:15 shift one
day a week (or 2 days a month) at the school store.
Production:
*Work copying machine
(instructions are given) to make copies for classes.
Chaperone Dances:
*Help at a dance or dances
during the year.
IMC (Library):
*Help collect textbooks at the
end of each semester. We need LOTS of people
for 2-3 hour shifts over 3 days.
Cookies/Food Donations:
*These are needed a few times
each year. Contact
Anne McDowell

help in this area.

WELCOME PARENTS!
WILDCAT PTO
Welcome to a new school
year!
On behalf of the Normal
West Parent Teacher Organization I would like to welcome
both new and returning parents to Normal
West
High School.
I am the
President of the PTO for the 2010-11 school year and would
like to welcome all parents to join us and become a member
of the PTO.
Let me provide you with
some highlights about NCWHS PTO
-
This
organization is a great source of friendship, support,
and school involvement!
-
Unlike elementary
school, the PTO at our school is less demanding; there
are no room / party coordinators, carnival chairs, or
Market Day.
-
Our active members
enjoy being involved in decision making on where money
can best be spent to benefit and impact the greatest
amount of students with the greatest need.
-
As
meeting goers you also gain insight on the happenings at
school that your student may not inform you of.
I highly
encourage you to attend our next meeting on October 2nd
at 6:00 pm in the IMC.
Typically our meetings are held on the 2nd
Tuesday of the month at 6:00 pm in the IMC.

I
can also be found most days from 2:00 � 3:00 at the Wildcat
Den, the school store, located just past the main office on
the left.
I also encourage you to drop by
the Den and view what is offered in spirit clothing and
snacks for the students after school!
