Dear
Parents and Guardians:
You are invited to attend an
informational meeting to learn more
about how your child can be involved in
pre-engineering courses during their
high school years at NCWHS. The meeting
will be held December 1st at
Normal Community West High School from
7:00 – 8:00pm in the senior cafeteria.
Project Lead the Way is a national
organization whose mission is to
implement engineering courses at the
high school level in order to provide
high school students the necessary
skills to be successful when studying
engineering at the university level. We
currently offer three PLTW engineering
classes at NCWHS and the opportunity to
take two more through the Bloomington
ACC. Expect more courses to be
implemented at NCWHS in the future.
There are currently over 120 Normal West
students involved in Project Lead the
Way classes.
