Congratulations to the Normal West Throwers for a fantastic
start as the indoor track season winds down this weekend.
Senior Max Weise and sophomore Kirsten Thompson both broke
the indoor shot put records this week. Kirsten broke a
record held for 6 years and Max destroyed the previous
record of 46 ft 6 inches with a throw of 50 ft 4 inches.
Additionally, Annie Brown, Dom Lashley, Jamie Piercy, Becca
Smith, Kyle Tobin and Jenn Voss have all broken their
personal records already. Good luck in the outdoor season
and keep up the good work, Coach Hill.
