Normal West Band Fundraising
The district has cut the funding that supports the bands. The parents need to raise $28,000, which is about 3 times more than we have raised in previous years. Here are the fundraising events we have scheduled to support Normal West Bands. Please add these dates to your calendar and plan to support the excellent band traditions at Normal West. If you have questions or want to volunteer, contact Kirk and Julie Sieg at 452-5900, or the contact person listed for the event. Also, keep checking the band website for updates and changes to this calendar.

What does it mean to be a Contact person for a fundraiser?
For any fundraiser:
- Answer any student or parent’s questions regarding the fundraiser.
- Make sure the band website gets updated with any information about the fundraiser by contacting Kirk and Julie Sieg at 452-5900.
- Handle any money and record keeping for the event. After the event, give the money to Jeff or Brenda Leopard.
- Solicit any help needed from other parents at concerts or other band events.
- Communicate work/selling/pick up schedule to parents and students.
- Provide instructions and training to student and parent volunteers.
- Please contact Kirk and Julie Sieg at 452-5900 if you have any questions or need help in making arrangements for the fundraiser.
Car Wash & Bag for Tips:
- Confirm date and time with the business.
- Arrange for signs, tables, towels, sponges, soap, hoses, etc. (supplies/equipment for event)
Fruit Sales, Krispy Kreme Sales, Poinsettia Sales
- Make arrangements with fundraising company.
- Prepare order forms to be handed out to the students.
- Pick up student orders from Band directors.
- Arrange delivery/pick up of merchandise from company.
- Sort orders and package for student distribution.
