The "King of Hearts" Student Council,
Close to Our Heart Charity Event, will
be held Saturday, February 13th at 6pm
in the NCWHS Auditorium. Tickets are on
sale now for $6. All profits will
benefit the Beres Family. Katie Beres,
a Senior at West, is undergoing
treatment for cancer.

Normal West H.S. is one of 412
schools from across the country that has
been specifically chosen by American
Family Insurance to participate in the
Teen Safe Driving Pledge Contest.
Participating schools have a chance to
win $25,000, $10,000, or $5,000 along
with other prizes.To help Normal
West win these prizes, parents and
students need to sign the on-line pledge
that is located at
www.teensafedriver.com/pledge. The
schools with the highest percentage of
pledges will win the prizes.
Both parents and students must sign this
pledge, using the parent/student drop
down on the pledge page. It only
