Juniors:  If you are interested in taking the PSAT, Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test on October 13^th, you will need to sign up in the Guidance Office starting Tuesday Sept 7- Sept. 22^nd.  The PSAT will be given here starting at 7 am.  You will need your own transportation to school that day because it is a late start day.  The cost is $13 and checks should be made out to NCWHS. If there are spots left after Sept. 22^nd, there will be a $10 late fee added.    Please see your counselor if you have questions. 

The dates for EXPLORE and PLAN testing have changed. All freshman will take the EXPLORE test on Tuesday Sept. 28^th.  All sophomores will take the PLAN test on Wed. Sept 29^th.  The PLAN TEST IS A LATE START DAY.  Sophomores will report to the North Gym at 8:15 am.

FCCLA will be meeting after school on Wednesday, September 1 from 2:35-3:30 in Room 215.  Please ask Mrs. Wilson or Mrs. Riley if you have questions.

Important Notice:

To enhance our school security, all visitors to Normal West during school hours (7:15 – 2:30) will be asked to present a photo ID and leave it with the receptionist for the duration of their visit.  Visitor passes may be obtained at Door A (the main entrance). Photo ID’s will be returned when the visitor exits the building.

Homecoming dresses for sale or rent! Thursday, Sept. 9th in the IMC 6-8pm Homecoming dresses will be available to try on and purchase at a discounted price or to rent. A portion of the proceeds will go to support Student Council.  If you have dresses you would like to donate, sell or rent please contact Mrs. Modglin/Mrs. Schultz in room 242 (888-6956)or drop them off at the main office.
