Nonnemacher fires perfect game for NCHS softball

Sophomore Megan Nonnemacher fired a perfect game with 14 strikeouts Friday as Normal Community High School’s softball team downed Springfield, 10-0, in five innings in nonconference action at Normal.  Nonnemacher (6-0) was supported by a 12-hit attack led by Danielle Bentley’s three-run home run in the second inning.  Katie Lutes and Kaity Crane added two hits each, with Crane contributing a double and two RBI. Kimmy Hassel had a triple and two RBI. 

NCHS improved to 9-0, while Springfield fell to 2-9.
