With over 19,000 books, 20 magazines and newspapers as well as several online databases, the media specialists at NCHS promote information literacy; helping students and staff access, evaluate, and analyze information.  They also work to promote and encourage life long reading and learning for both information and recreation.  The IMC houses 45 IBM and 2 Macintosh networked computers, two scanners, and a copy machine at the cost of .10 per page.

Students can use the IMC before and after school, during study hall, with scheduled classes, and on passes from teachers.  All databases can be accessed at home by entering a user name and/or password.  Please see a media specialist to get these.
