GOOD NEWS!  Great Planes Inc. has decided to donate a flight simulator to the NCHS RC Club.  Students will now have the ability to use (and master) the flight simulator before they ever attempt the real thing.  Thanks very much to Great Planes for your support in our efforts to fly.

The maiden flight of Rob's model airplane was a success.  Mr. Worden helped the club build an RC plane.  It took about 2 and a half months to build.  Friday after school, a few of us went out behind the school and put Mr. Worden's model aircraft flight skills to the test.  Thankfully, the two flights that were conducted were uneventful.  Mr. Worden still had to prove his ability by dazzling us with a few loops and rolls!  It was an exciting sight to see.  Next year, the club hopes to build another plane and even have students flying it by the end of the year.
