Request for IRON PRIDE ORGANIZATION Funds

For Uniforms

 

POLICY

It is the policy of THE Iron Pride Organization TO grant funds FOR uniforms that benefit Normal Community High School.  Because of so many requests and budgetary restraints we have set up new policies.

 

  1. We may assist in purchasing uniforms as long as the uniform is the property of NCHS, they must stay with the school at the end of the season for use the following year.
  2. We may assist in helping fund the uniforms up to either 50% or $50 per student.
  3. The students must raise part of the cost of the uniforms.

PROCEDURE:

 

1. To request funds, the REQUESTOR should do the following:

    Complete the attached form and return it to the President of the Iron Pride Organization or                        one of the officers. The request will be discussed as soon as possible, usually the next scheduled meeting of the Iron Pride Organization.

2. It is necessary to have the REQUESTOR come to the Iron Pride Organization Meeting to

          present the REQUEST FOR FUNDS.
3. Only completed applications will be reviewed.  If the application is not complete, attempts       will be made to contact that party to have them complete the form.

4. Two letters will need to be attached:

            1) A letter from the school board stating they will not provide any money for uniforms or if they will, how  much they will provide towards the purchase.

2) A letter from the department head stating how much is in the budget for such items, if          there is nothing in the budget for uniforms that needs to be stated.

5. After consideration of the request, the REQUESTOR will BE notified of whether or not THE request was accepted, rejected or needs further information.  You will receive a copy of your request back with the amount we will provide for your organization.

5. What is the cost per student?  Please include an itemized list of items.

6. Who is the supplier and have you investigated others for better prices?

7. If the Iron Pride Organization cannot grant all the money you request, is there a lesser amount that you could accept?

8. Where else have you tried to get funding for the uniforms?

9. How do you plan to raise the rest of the funds needed?

10. When did you last replace the uniforms?

11. How long do you expect the uniforms to last?

12. When do you need the funds?
