SELF SCHEDULING PROCESS FOR THE STORE
Group,
I think I have finally with the help of David Harris, the Unit 5
Website Administrator, found a way to schedule events directly on line.
This will allow the volunteers to sign up directly on the website.
To begin with, go to the website
at www.unit5.org/nchs/spirit
Find the Iron Pride Store Calendar Link.
Click on this link and the calendar will open.
On the left side of the calendar you will see a link to Login. Click on
the login and type in the following information and put your user name as
follows:
Username: spirit
Password: Call Colleen Liesman mike.liesman@verizon.net
at 662-8891 or Tom Nielsen at 662-4095 t.nielsen10@verizon.net
This will bring you into the Calendar.
1. Check the calendar to see if there is a date you can work. We need two
volunteers on each date for AM or PM. If
a date is open, do the following:
1. At the left side of the screen, you will see an area to add event: Click on
Add Event-A screen will open up with a "Name Box”
2. In that name box, Type AM (0710-0750) or PM (3:00-3:45), then a space, then
your last name only.
3. Click Save and Continue
4. A Screen opens up and asks you several things:
Start Time (Don’t place any times in the boxes) Check only the Box for
all day event.
Individual Date-Click on the arrow at the end of the box. A calendar will pop up. Click on the actual date you would like to
work (Only one date at a time) DO NOT
USE THE RECURRENT OR RANGE SECTION.
Click save, If you want to add another date, go through the process
again to add another date.
If you need to edit a date, click on edit date at left of calendar,
this will open up a menu. Find the date you want to edit, and click on the EDIT
button. Add your name to the name box
and click save changes.
We need two volunteers for each day in the store. If you have questions
regarding the login process, contact Colleen Liesman mike.liesman@verizon.net at 662-8891
or Tom Nielsen at 662-4095 t.nielsen10@verizon.net
The system is not as user-friendly or intuitive as I would like, but it
is a start. It will take some time to get used to this system but will help the
scheduling process a great deal.
Please do not delete anyone’s name or an event unless you have informed
that person.
Thanks,
Tom
