NCHS SPIRIT CLUB - APPROVAL COMMITTEE - OCT. 8, 2003

Attendance: Jerry Pocopanni, Kathy DiCiaula, Diana Roberts, Barb Metroff

Financial report: Jerry reported a balance of $8700 with all new clothing paid for and a

reserve of $3500 in a CD. Store is bringing in approximately $1000/week. Other income

is obtained from the sale of magazines, ornaments, and Chevy dealer.

Requests:

IMC Request: Book security system - total cost $13,000

ACTION: $1500 minimum approved, up to $3000, if needed

NOTED: Spirit Club would keep this in our CD until time of purchase

CONCESSION STAND: Popcorn popper & hot dog machine - total cost $2269.50

ACTION: $1500 approved

NOTED: pay $1500 in one payment to Sharon Willsie

WEIGHT ROOM BODY ANALYZER/SCALE: approximately $695

ACTION: Full payment approved

NOTED: An internet search of a lowered amount was obtained. Kessler’s will meet

the lower price. Order will be placed, Kessler’s will deliver and bill the Spirit Club.

COMPUTERIZED GAME TAPING: Total cost $6458.34

ACTION: $2000 approved to make the purchase (add’l funds from football/basketball)

NOTED: Money is issued at time of purchase. Spirit Club requests a copy of the receipt.

GOLF CART: Total Cost???????

ACTION: Spirit Club is putting out a request (via parent newletter) for anyone able to

donate or help us acquire a cart for use in the sports complex.
