Band Parents

 

 

 

 

 

 

The band parents are an extremely active booster group at the high school that you can be a part of. The band parents are headed by a Band Board, with many areas of responsibility. Our main goal is to work with the directors to help make your child's band program a huge success.

 Here are some of the areas that the Band Parents assist with:

•  We help run Band Camp in August.
•  We are responsible for uniforms, costumes, props, and flags for the band and color guard.
•  Our Iron Crew are the men and women who build the props, paint the tarps, load and drive the semis, get the props on and off the field, and keep all the parts of the show working.
•  And there are many other jobs including chaperoning trips, working at the various dinners like the chili or spaghetti suppers, helping with fund-raisers, working on publicity, or helping at the various concerts, parades, and performances.
