MARCHING IRONMEN
Welcome to the Normal
Community High School Marching Band!
Band is an outstanding group at Normal Community
High School. The students in the band program work hard and are duly rewarded for
their efforts, all while having a great time! Approximately 10% of the students at
NCHS make the commitment to this nationally recognized organization. Many band
students also participate in sports, clubs, student council, and other activities. In
addition, some of the schools top academic achievers are a part of the band program.

(Battery Percussion) Workshops/Auditions
There will be several workshops held this spring for
percussionists interested in playing snare drum, tenors, or bass drum in the
marching band. More information

Information Meeting:
Monday, May 21st at 6 p.m. in the NCHS band
room.
Summer Camps:
ALL camps are held from 1 9 p.m. with a dinner break
from 4 6.

Regular
Weekday Rehearsals:
Mondays: Percussion, 6:30 8:30 p.m., Color Guard, 5:30
8:30 p.m.
Tuesdays: Woodwinds and Brass, 6:30 8:30 p.m.
Thursdays: Full Ensemble, 6:30 9:00 p.m.
The regular weekday rehearsal schedule will begin
on Monday, August 6th and
continue through Thursday, October 25th.
