| Treble Choir |
Treble Choir
is a non-auditioned beginning-level choir for all female
singers, grades 9-12.

| Men's Choir |
Men's Choir is
a non-auditioned beginning-level choir for all male
singers, grades 9-12
|
| Women's Chorale |
Women's Chorale is an auditioned female ensemble,
performing advanced-level women's literature. It is
open only for girls in 10-12 grade. The Women's
Chorale has performed at the Millikin University Women's
Chorus Festival.

| Chamber Choir |
The Chamber
Choir is an auditioned mixed ensemble, open to students
in grades 10-12 (most of the time, only juniors and
seniors are in this choir). The Chamber Choir is the
highest-level curricular ensemble offered at NCHS. They
have been the guest performers at the Millikin
University Choral Festival and the Peoria Area Civic
Chorale "American Family Christmas" show, and have
appeared. They sing choral literature of the highest
caliber.
The Chamber Choir is also our main touring ensemble:
recent trips have taken us to the Bahamas, Toronto, New
York City, Washington, DC, and Orlando. In
2009-2010, the music department will be performing and
touring San Antonio, Texas.

EXTRA-CURRICULAR ENSEMBLES

Madrigals
Jazz Choir |
Madrigals / Jazz Choir is a highly-selective group that
presents the annual Christmas madrigal dinners, as well
as jazz night in the spring.

| Court Singers |
Court Singers is a highly-selective group of singers who
perform at the annual madrigal dinners. This group is
considered a training ensemble for the madrigals, and
rehearse / perform during the fall semester

| Table for Twelve |
Table for Twelve is a highly-selective group of twelve
girls who perform a wide variety of songs a cappella.
Their repertoire covers popular music from yesterday and
today (Audrey Black and Laura Von Brock are missing from
the picture).

| Missing Links |
The Missing
Links are a highly-selective group of at
least 8 boys who perform a wide variety of songs a
cappella. They will cover everything from pop music
to Barbershop to old choral standards. This group was
formed in the spring semester of 2008, and we are
excited that the "Missing Link" of a guys doo-wop group
has finally been formed!
