Academics

NCHS has a long and proud tradition of providing quality education to the local community. Since 1905 Normal Community High School has offered a wide range of excellent classes and course work to it's student body. This has helped to create well-prepared graduates that move on in life and excel at their endeavors, both here in the community and far abroad.

Illinois High School Association Scholastic Achievement Award (IHSA) - This award is presented to Juniors and Seniors on an athletic team and earning a minimum GPA of 4.5.

Big 12 Scholar Athletes - This award is presented to Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors earning a Varsity Letter with a minimum GPA of 4.0.
