Computer Ethics

Never give out personal information such as name, address, telephone number, or password.  This includes filling in questionnaires available on various sites.  DO NOT share passwords with anyone.
Never agree to meet in person with someone you "meet" online without first checking with your parents.
Remember that nothing you write on the Internet is private.  E-mail and Web sites are not private.
Never send a person your picture or anything else without first checking with your parents.
If you consider the site offensive, click the BACK button immediately.  Consider all sites that would offend your teachers, parents, and classmates as offensive to you and BACK out.  (When in doubt, go HOME.)
Do not copy information from the Internet without giving credit to the author.  This is plagiarism.  Use the information as research for the creation of your own words.
While at school, use the Internet only for school-related activities, homework, research, etc.  The Internet is a research tool, not a toy.
