Dream Destination Assignment

8th Grade Applied Communications students research dream destinations.  Students use their writing toolbox to write a five paragraph persuasive essay on their dream destination.  The writing toolbox consists of:  teacher-led and student's original work for explanation and examples of :  introductory paragraph, attention getter, topic sentence, thesis statement, elaboration (supporting details), transitions, figurative language, and concluding paragraph.
