Our Books and Bites Program
All three Unit 5 middle schools have partnered with the Normal Public Library and Bloomington Public Library Young Adult Departments to offer a monthly booktalk program for students.
Librarians Linda Hutchins of NPL and John Fischer of BPL visit each school one day a month during all student lunch periods. Students enjoy their lunch with the librarians while hearing about some great new books to read.
Students wishing to participate should listen for school announcements and/or contact their school librarian.
