Our Purpose
The Unit 5 Media Services Department provides instructional media center services to all staff and students in
every school in Unit 5. Media specialists are reading and technology
leaders in their schools. They provide bibliographic and technology
instruction, reference services, and collection development, and their
role is to promote information literacy, ensuring that students and staff
are effective users of ideas and information.
