Mrs. McCoy’s Kindergarten Supply List

EACH OF THESE ITEMS SHOULD BE CLEARLY LABELED WITH YOUR CHILD’S FIRST NAME PRINTED USING A PERMANENT MARKER.

·        *3 boxes of 8 crayons (regular size and regular colors)  (Please label each crayon with your child’s first name.)

·        *12 pencils (sharpened, regular size)  (Please label each pencil by the eraser end with your child’s first name.)

·        *6 glue sticks

·        *1 pair of Fiskars scissors

·        *3 large pink erasers

·        *1 box of 10 Crayola markers (classic/original colors,

         wide/regular size)

        (Please label each marker with your child’s first name.)

·         *1 clear, plastic shoe box

·        1 large backpack to use for daily papers and weekly library books

·        1 lunch box (if bringing cold lunch)

·        1 pair of tennis shoes with laces (These are to be tied with a double knot at home and worn to school each day.)

PLEASE DO NOT MARK THE FOLLOWING WITH YOUR CHILD’S NAME:

·        *1 Kindermat from Walmart (red & blue “Deluxe” 5/8” x 19” x 45” –not the extra thick please!)  (If you can’t locate this exact thickness, just purchase any red and blue mat at Wal-Mart.  Thanks!)

·        *1 bottle of Elmer’s glue

·        *1 blue folder with 2 pockets  (5 Star Brand)

·        *1 green folder with 2 pockets  (5 Star Brand)

·        *3 containers of baby wipes (unscented)  --Refills are fine too!

·        *1 large box of Kleenex

·        *1 clear, book envelope (top load, letter size)

·       *1 Expo dry erase marker

·        1 zipper (any color, other than white, approximately 7 inches or smaller from a fabric department)

·        Girls -1 set of watercolor paints  

      Boys -1 box of gallon sized Ziploc bags

*These items are included in the “School Kidz” supply box if you purchased one in the spring at kindergarten registration!

I suggest that you purchase extra supplies at the beginning of the year, as prices are significantly lower at back to school time!  We often need to restock supplies (especially crayons, glue sticks, and baby wipes) during the year!
