3M MISSION STATEMENT: COLENE HOOSE MISSION STATEMENT:
3M is a safe place of learning where we
respect one another and
expect excellence every day! 
We work together to achieve success!		 The mission of Colene Hoose Elementary School, in partnership with students, home, and community, is to provide a positive and caring elementary learning experience. Our commitment is to assist students in reaching their fullest potential and to develop a strong sense of responsibility and respect for self and others.
3M OBJECTIVES: COLENE HOOSE OBJECTIVES:
1) To achieve academic success according to our Illinois State Standards
2) To provide a challenging and nurturing environment where every student can learn
3) To meet the needs and interests of all learners

  • Facilitate competence in the basic skills of reading, writing, calculating, speaking, listening, and problem solving.

  • Foster positive behavior and attitudes.

  • Provide challenging activities and programs that support best practice research.

  • Model life-long learning and commitment to high-quality work that we hope to develop in our students.

  • Provide opportunities for all students to build relationships; find ways to establish natural connections that will enable students to have a successful educational journey.
