3/17/2010 We had a great turnout tonight at the banquet!  Congratulations to all the wrestlers on a great season.  We're looking forward to next year!  For those of you interested in continuing to wrestle over the summer, check out ForceWrestling.com for numerous open tournments this summer.  You may even see a coach or two wrestling! Alec Bozarth has guaranteed us he'll win state before he leaves KJHS.  Now that's a goal I look forward to assisting him fulfill and I can't wait to be a part of it! Best of luck to all the 8th graders in their future endevours and we'll see you 6th and 7th graders next season! 3/15/2010 The wrestling banquet will be held in the cafeteria at Kingsley Jr. High on Wednesday, March 17th from 6:00pm - 8:00pm.  Please come out and congratulate the kids on a great season!!  Food and drinks will be provided. ***If wrestling equipment has not been turned in yet, please be sure they are washed and turned in at the banquet.*** 3/13/2010 As a team, we finished 37th at the state tournament.  DJ Frank took 4th Place at 145 and Brock Danko took 6th Place at 80.  Way to go kids!!  Additional pictures can be found on the photos page.  Full brackets from the state tournament can be found on the IESA Wrestling website. 3/06/2010 Sectionals are over.  Stuart Chestney (70), Brock Danko (80), Ethan Mitchell (119), and DJ Frank (145) will each be representing the Cavaliers next weekend at the IESA Wrestling State tournament.  Full Sectionals brackets can be found at this link.  Congratulations wrestlers!! The coaches would like to thank all the parents and wrestlers that assisted with the tournament today.  It ran very smoothly and we appreciate all the help we had. 3/04/2010 Some photos from Regionals have been added to the photos page. 3/02/2010 All wrestlers not participating in the Sectional tournament are needed for volunteer work.  Please let the coaches know if you'll be available ASAP!!  Parents/friends/family still needed for concessions assistance.  Please contact Jo Bybee (309-287-5052 or jo@bybee-net.com) if you're interested in assisting with concessions. All wrestlers who did not qualify for the sectionals must wash and turn in their equipment as soon as possible.  Please turn your equipment in to the coaches.  If you cannot reach the coaches, turn it in at the school office. 2/27/2010 The Kingsley wrestlers took 3rd place in Regionals today.  We had some great matches and will be sending 14 wrestlers to the Sectional tournament next week and Kingsley Jr. High.  All the qualifiers are listed below.  Great job team! 70 - Stuart Chestney (2nd) 75 - Mitch Randazzo (4th) 80 - Brock Danko (1st) 85 - Connor McCloskey (3rd) 90 - Dom Ford (4th) 119 - Ethan Mitchell (3rd) 126 - Payden Carter (3rd), George Margherio (4th) 135 - Lar'Ron Carroll (4th) 145 - DJ Frank (1st), DJ Kocar (3rd) 185 - Will Henrichs (4th) 215 - Ian Stanley (4th) HWT - Sam Langellier (4th) Please check the site regularly for future updates!!
