To all the great track athletes:

For those of you who have not heard, I will no longer be at Kingsley.  I have moved to Indiana with my husband for his career.  I will be looking forward to continuing my teaching and coaching career and will be taking what I learned from a very talented track team to further my career.

These past two years I have had the opportunity to meet and get to know some amazing students/athletes.  Even though we have had large numbers I still saw hard work and improvement in everyone on the team.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time that was spent coaching each and every one of you.  You are a very special group of athletes.  Please just remember to work hard and always do your best and then great things will happen.  I want to wish each and every one of you the best of luck. Thank you for the memories.

Coach Maggie Edwards

Dear athletes, friends, and family of Kingsley's Track and Field Program,

It is with extreme regret that I also inform you of my resignation as Kingsley's Cross Country and Track and Field Coach. As many of you may know, I graduated from ISU in May and have actively been pursuing a career in the Bloomington-Normal area that would allow me to continue coaching; however, due to recent economic conditions and competitive job markets, it has been very difficult for me to find such a career. Back in December, I accepted a position with Marsh and McLennan Companies, Inc., an insurance brokerage firm with a large regional office located in Chicago, and will work full time at this office come mid-July.

Furthermore, I am actively pursuing coaching opportunities within the inner-city of Chicago. At first glance, the Chicago Public School District seems to hold a lot of promise with new challenges for me as a coach and mentor, as I strive to influence and better the lives of young people through the sport of running.

Lastly, I can honestly say that my experience with the Kingsley administration, parents, but more importantly the athletes, has been nothing short of perfection. Coaching at such a young age has left lasting memories and helped shape who I am today. I hope that during this process, I have also positively left my footprint within Kingsley and the lives of my athletes.

To all of my athletes: set your goals high, strive for your dreams, work hard to achieve them, and have fun while enjoying the sport of running! I wish all of you continued success in whatever academics and sports you may pursue.

Sincerely thanking you for a fantastic three years!

Coach Mark Esposito
