balance is approximately $20,775
-We have
taken in $4,606 more than we’ve spent.
And we have not tapped into our reserve from last year as of yet.

Kohlhase and Amy discussed the matter of $224 in insufficient funds that need
to be collected

Principal’s Report/Dr. Mehall
-“Drums,
Girls and Dangerous Pie” is a book that the entire school is reading. Teachers reading it at a specified time each
day. All classes except PE. There has been lots of good discussion on the
content of the book.
-This book
sharing leads the school into
*Family Reading Night on Monday, November 19
Open house style evening that will also feature games,
representatives from the Lymphoma and Leukemia Society. The book focuses on a sibling suffering from
cancer.

news: Some challenges with this
system. Grades will not be posted
necessarily every day. Teachers cannot do it that often, in general.
-“School
Reach” system was demonstrated to Unit 5.
Dr. Mehall is on the CAC security committee. This system is used to notify parents about
bus accidents, snow days and security emergencies. Would cost approximately $2.50 per student to
purchase.

As opposed to including everyone by default unless you indicate you do not want to be in the book.

lunches recently on 10/19 and 10/26 with great donations and lots of volunteers

December 14 will be a staff breakfast with casseroles coming from food service
and coffee cakes donated by volunteers

reported that kids have requested lanyards

confirm quantities required for prizes. Dr. Mehall said that 250 were required
for 8th graders to go to Six Flags
