Treasurer’s report this month.
Principal’s Report/Dr. Mehall
-Tish and
Dr. Mehall attended training on the School Administrator Manager Position. The type of position leaves the principal
open to doing more instructional work and puts the emphasis on education. The goal is to lead more into instructional
leadership. Another associate principal
or administrative assistant would take over many of the management responsibilities.
It allows the principal to be more hands-on and these results in increased
achievement.
-Baby J was
great on December 6th. Dr.
Mehall thanked the PTO for our help with this.
-The 7th
grade boy’s basketball team went to state this past week. Did a great job but
lost first round.
-The 8th
grade boys won regional and will play in the sectional next week.
-There
continues to be ongoing discussion within the district about having more
Language Arts minutes per school day.

-School

-The high

-6th

-6th
grade activity night will be February 22nd.
-Focus for PTO,
besides providing lunches for teachers
-The 8th
grade dance needs a coordinator. Joanne
will start with the 8th grade Liaisons to find someone. Also need to assign a date. But not May 9 due to state track meet. Would PTO like to sponsor a 7th/8th
grade activity night?

-May 30th
will be the last day of school
-The

as a result of the recent flooding.
