Keep the computer in an open area (kitchen, family room, ect.)

Ask your child to show you what they can do on the internet.

Remind children not to give personal information out in e-mails or chat.

NEVER allow your children to meet with someone the 1st "met" online.

Check with your IP for any parental controls, filters, or blockers, they offer.

Know the other ways your children are accessing the internet.

Talk about what is ok and not ok when you are not there.
