Searching on the Internet:

 

  1. Go into Internet Explorer.  Click Search on the toolbar at the top. On the left side of the page, type in Your Career.  Sites will show up on the left, and previews will show on the right.  Pick a site.  Close out of the search for a larger screen.  Do this by clicking the X at the top of the left search options.

 

 

2.        Go to Internet Explorer.  Type in http://www.google.com . Type in your career.

 

 

 

Using Encyclopedias on the Internet:

 

Go to Internet Explorer. Go to Unit 5’s Homepage:  http://www.unit5.org

Scroll down to the Student section and click on Internet Gateway.  On the right, there is a listing of Internet Online Services.  This is where you will find the online encyclopedias to use.  This link  http://www.unit5.org/links/internetgateway.htm   will take you there.
