night) on teams 7-1 and 7-3 will be dismissed at 2:54 p.m. to go to
lockers and the bus lane. Students who are bus riders (or plan to ride

*Parents Only - Any students
interested in any sport – listen up! You must be cleared through the main office before the first day of
try-outs! Coaches do not handle ANY
paper work for the athlete other than collecting their goldslip, which lets
them know that they have been cleared. Students need the following items
turned into the main office: copy
of current physical (physicals are good for one year from the date of the
physical and must get them through the entire season of the sport), copy of
Birth Certificate on file, and an Athletic Permission from which are
available in the main office or on-line at www.unit5.org/kjhs/ If you have any questions, please
contact the main office.
*Parents
Only - Parents,
at any time if your address or phone number(s) changes, please notify Mrs.
Dierkes at 888-6910 immediately so your child’s information in Skyward will
be current. Incorrect information results in a delay in our staff contacting
you either by phone, mail, or SchoolReach.
Thank you!
*Parents Only – If you are
reporting an absence, late arrive or early dismissal, you must call the attendance hotline at
888-6905. This number is
open 24 hours a day! By doing so, your
student will be ready and waiting for you to be picked up in the main
office. Failure to do this results in a delay for the parent!
Parents must come into the office to sign their student in or out of the
building. We do not accept handwritten notes from home for any type of absence
at the junior high level. Thank you for your support.
