EXTREME MAKEOVER UNIT 5 EDITION

Crowded behind a yellow school bus, children from Fairview Elementary School chanted “move that bus,” in anticipation of showing off their “new” school to the community.

As the bus slowly pulled away to expose the front door, the group entered the school which was completely rehabbed this summer.

“The parents went ‘oh my goodness.’ They couldn’t believe how much it changed,” said Principal James Shaw.

The entire building received a fresh coat of paint, and every classroom got bright new carpet, built-in wooden cabinets, as well as new doors and windows. Each classroom also got state-of-the-art Smart Board projectors.

Staff has also been reminded to regularly clean and disinfect frequently touched areas.

We are also asking parents to partner with us in keeping children healthy through a few practical ways:............. READ MORE->
