SPANISH LEVEL ONE OBJECTIVES: |

| t teach students basic communication skills for specific topics in Spanish. |
t encourage students to use and practice their Spanish both within the classroom and also within their local Spanish-speaking community.

t familiarize students with the countries and peoples in which Spanish is spoken.
|
t help students develop an awareness of cultural similarities and differences between the United States and Spanish-Speaking countries. |
