Printer Cartridge Recycling  

          Please send your used printer cartridges to the library so that we may send them in for recycling.  During the past school year we earned about $600 for recycling cartridges.   Money raised is spent on  boom boxes, headsets, computer software and library materials. Cartridges from most home printers are able to be recycled...the large cartridges from laser printers are not.  (Typically those companies will have a postage free label you can use to return the cartridge to that company for recycling.)  Thanks for your support of this program.  It’s been a nice source of extra income to buy library materials and it’s an easy way to do our part for the environment.
