Colene Hoose PTO
Colene Hoose is the largest elementary school in the Unit 5 District. The Hoose Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is proud to provide both volunteer and monetary support to benefit school activities throughout the year.
The PTO meets monthly. All interested Hoose parents are welcome to attend. Special meetings are also held as needed. Money raised from PTO memberships is put into a gift fund to purchase items for the school.

Goals of Parent - Teacher Organization

To unite educator, parent and the general public in a cooperative effort to gain the best in mental, physical, and social education for each child.

Policies of the Parent - Teacher Organization

This organization shall not seek to direct the administrative activities of the school or to control its policies.

This organization shall be noncommercial, nonsectarian, and nonpartisan.

The programs of this organization shall be educational and shall be developed through communities and projects.

This organization may cooperate with other organizations and agencies in child welfare, such as conference groups or coordinating councils.
