United Way Fund Drive
10|17|08   —  From Nate Chalmers, Hoose United Way Committee
United WayDuring the week of October 20th through the 24th, our school will be participating in the United Way Fund Drive. This year each grade level will compete against each other to see who can raise the most amount of money per student.

The grade level that raises the most amount of money per student will be treated to a pizza party and will also be awarded daily prizes too. Your teachers ask that you only donate pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters. The United Way will use the money given to help those who are in need.

The United Way of McLean County provides funding for local agencies in our community. The Boys & Girls Club of Bloomington-Normal, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, and Big Brothers Big Sisters are some of the agencies that the United Way of McLean County helps to support. By donating your change to the United Way, you too are supporting local agencies in McLean County and helping others in need.

Thank you Hawks for helping out the United Way of McLean County and making a difference in the lives of those in our community!
