All
students
attended an
assembly today
introducing this
year's Parent
Teacher
Organization
fundraiser. Once
again, the QSC
Reader's Digest
Organization has
been chosen to
help raise funds
for such items
as playground
equipment,
SmartBoards, and
other essential
(and often
expensive) items
sponsored by the
PTO.
During the
assemblies,
students were
motivated to ask
family, friends,
and immediate
neighbors to
help the cause
by submitting
subscriptions to
their choices
from a selection
of numerous
popular
publications.
In addition to
harvesting funds
that will
directly benefit
the children and
staff at Hoose,
students were
informed of a
competitive
incentive
program that
earns them
personal rewards
based on the
number of
subscriptions or
renewals they
solicit.
Detailed
literature was
sent home with
students
explaining all
of the details
of this year's
program. In
addition,
