Colene Hoose has received an Energy Star award for the past school year according to an official notice accepted today.

On Wednesday, an efficiency Good News Report will reflect this honor at the scheduled Unit 5 School Board Meeting. Within two days the building should be listed on the Energy Star website. 

Also, as with last year, each site will receive a plaque related to the honor.  Hoose is among only 34 total schools listed for the entire state (Unit 5 has 32.4% of the Energy Star Schools for the State of Illinois)!
