14 members of the Chess Team represented Colene Hoose Elementary School at the SuperNational Chess Championship in Nashville, TN.  They competed with over 5200 of the best chess players in the nation in 20 sections.

 

Vetri Maduraiveeran and Nathaniel Sobery each tied for 25^th Place in the K-1 Championship section.

 

The team of Amanda Carlson, Andrew Carlson, Julia Herrman, Pujita Julakanti and Satvik Venkatesh placed 27^th among the 220 schools represented in the K-3 Under 800 section.

 

The team of Parker Brown, Thomas Moh and Cassie Parent placed 27^th among the 138 schools represented in the K-6 Under 1000 section.

 

Sidharth Krishnamoorthi and Ganesh Maduraiveeran competed in the K-5 Under 900 section and Sidharth took home 28^th Place.

 

Shanku Nair competed in a High School section and Karthik Karra competed in a Junior High Section.
