We made igloos.  We practiced making lines with rulers!

We worked on following directions and made polar bear heads.

Snowman faces.  We used different materials to make the face.  And we practiced our cutting by cutting out the hats and noses.

We practiced cutting by making trees.  Then we used the tops of spools of thread to make the "snowflakes."

Winter Animals!  We sponge painted around an animal shape to make it look like the animal (polar bear, seal or penguin) were sitting in the snow. 

We used marshmallows to make our snowman prints, and then decorated them with markers!

First we ripped paper to make the snowman outline.  Then we decorated them!

We practiced our cutting as we cut out a snowman shape.  Then we used different collage materials to make them look special.

First we drew a winter scene.  Then we used a glue stick and cotton balls to make little bits of  snow.

We made constellations!
