Imagine the sounds of the fire crackling you see the smoke dancing up to the sky.  Telling stories around the campfire can be fun. This year we will have a virtual campfire and share a story written by our class.  Read what our class has written so far.  Decide what you think should happen next.  Click on the email at the bottom of the page and type in your part of the story.  Check it carefully to make sure it is correct.  Mrs. Hinshaw will read all of the suggested parts and choose one to add.  Only one paragraph will be added each week, but you may email a new part next week.

Join the fun!  Decide what should happen next in the story and email me your ideas!

Part One - by Mrs. Hinshaw
The motorcycle zoomed down the street to the Post Office.  Off jumped an old lady in a pink bathrobe.  She was wearing fuzzy elephant slippers and had curlers in her hair.  She looked around very carefully and then quickly dropped five eerie looking letters in to the mailbox.  "There," she thought, "now it has begun."  She jumped back on to the motorcycle and sped back to her home, the old Pickering house on the hill at the edge of town.

What should happen next?  Write the next part of the story and email it to Mrs. Hinshaw.
