Pathfinder for Foods II project (example country S. Korea)

The student will be able to provide information on the following 6 items using a variety of sources.

1. Location, geography, topography, and climate
2. Food related economy, agriculture, crops, exports, food processing, industry
3. Meal patterns and customs - when, where, what they eat (or do not eat) for meals
4. Commonly used cooking techniques, aromatics, and serving presentations
5. Regional dishes - describe four and print recipes for two (students will vote on submitted recipes for the foods lab)
6. Special occasions, holidays, or ceremonies and the foods typical of that occasion

UN (United Nations)  (only if your country is a member)
Wikipedia (use with caution as almost anyone can become a member and edit, check histories and discussions when in doubt)

Now lets search on the Internet to see what we come up with! 
I recommend the following search engines:
Google, Ask.com, Teoma, Kartoo, or Yahoo! Search.

*Keep in mind that each site may work for more than one category.
*Make sure that each site you use has a reputable source behind it.

REMINDER:
Print resources are also available to you through the IMC.
Don't forget the following Dewey Decimal Numbers they work at any library using the DDC!  Bloomington, Normal, and Unit 5 all use DDC.
