All materials
are checked out for one week.

Books must be
returned in the exact shape in which they were checked
out. If the book is returned with any damage it must
be replaced at the full publishers price. The most
common damages are the result of dogs and younger brother
and sisters getting at the books and books being damaged
by liquids being spilled on them.

Books must be
returned on the check out day in order for new books to be
checked out.

Kindergarteners
may check out one book per week.

First Graders
may check out one book during the first semester.
Two books may be checked out during the second semester
(Child must be able to read at least one of the books
checked out during the semester).

2nd Graders may
check out two books per week (Child must be able to read
at least one the books checked out).

3rd-5th Graders
may check out two items per week. No more than one of
these items can be a magazine.

If a child does
not want to check out a book because he/she is reading a
book from home or one that has been checked out from a
public library then that book should be brought to the IMC
on check out day for independent reading.
