Our time in the IMC
is spent: |
| Kindergarten--60 minutes |
Learning about all
different types of literature by the sharing of stories.
Learning to use the computer through different software
programs. |
| First Grade--85 minutes a week |
Learning about
different types of literature by the sharing of stories. We are
learning how to use the computer. The programs we have used so
far are Kid Works Deluxe, Math Workshop and I Spy. |
| Second Grade--85 minutes a week |
Learning about
different types of literature by the sharing of stories. We are
using the computers to create pictures and write stories. All of
our work is kept in a journal that will come home at the end of
the year. |
| Third Grade--85 minutes a week |
Learning about
different types of literature by the sharing of stories. We are
using the the computers to write stories. We begin to learn to
search the Internet. We are also learning how to type with
correct hand placement. All of our work is kept in a journal
that will come home at the end of the year. |
| Fourth Grade--60 minutes a week |
We learn how to
search the Internet for information. We use the computers to do
projects. We talk about different types of literature. All of
our work is kept in a journal that will come home at the end of
the year. |
| Fifth Grade--35 minutes a week |
We learn how to
search the Internet for information. We use the computers to do
projects. We talk about different types of literature. All of
our work is kept in a journal that will come home at the end of
