                                                                                                   December, 2007

One day there was a Halloween party in the classroom. There was a little girl named Maria. Her friends’ names were Kathryn, Karissa, Alex, J.D. and Emma. It was a dark, stormy night for Maria at the Halloween party. There was cake, cupcakes, funnel cakes and all kinds of food you can think of. Maria loved all of it.

But Maria and the rest of the class heard something. It sounds like creeeak…then their teacher was gone. They went in every other classroom. All the other teachers were gone too. They thought that it was a joke and they were trying to scare them, but they just moved on with the Halloween party.

Then 50 minutes later, they stopped. They were shaking. They were scared too. Then 30 minutes later, they heard a scream. A woman’s scream. It sounded like their teacher. They they heard a bunch of screams. Then the whole school heard it. Then Maria’s classroom ran trying to find the teachers. But they couldn’t find them. They heard a noise and it came from theh closet. Maria opened it. The person who took the teachers ran out and then the rest of the school came out. They found out who took them, but didn’t find the teachers.

The whole school got stuck in a room by the person who took them. Then they got out of the room. They were happy that they found who it was, but were still scared from that whole day. They wanted to pee their pants though! Somebody did.

They wondered if they would ever see the teachers again.

The End

Dear Mrs. Addams,

Thank you for making a Playground for me to Play at. I also want to thank you for getting me in School. I hated the factories.

I loved the school a lot I liked the Park you made. My Favorite thing is the reading and the math.

Thank you so much For all that you have done for me. Without you fighting for me and the other children, our lives would not be as good.

Thank you,

Emma
