Meet the Teachers

        Mrs. Freitag graduated from Illinois State University in 1986. She taught second grade in Mahomet for six years. She then came to Oakdale and taught kindergarten for six years. This is her tenth year teaching fourth grade.  It is by far the best grade level!

   Mrs. Freitag lives in Carlock with her wonderful husband and her two great children.  They live on a small farm. Her son, Bobby, is 18, and has just left for college.  Her daughter, Andrea, is 15, and raises goats, cattle and 3 horses.  Mrs. Freitag enjoys reading and storytelling, eating chocolate, and being with children.  She finds teaching fourth grade in an inclusion classroom very rewarding.  

   Mrs.Rhoda graduated from Illinois State University.  This is her 24th year of teaching.  She previously taught at Parkside Jr. High, Parkside Elementary, and was a CARES specialist.  It is her fourth year teaching at Oakdale.

    Mrs. Rhoda lives in Normal.  She has two sons named Justin and Jaron.  Jaron is in High School this year, and loves to read.  Justin is a freshman in college!!  Mrs. Rhoda likes to act in the community theater, read, and go to the movies.
