Organizations
To learn more about organizations within
Unit 5, links on the left of this page have been created to
assist in narrowing your search for specific information.
Included in these links you will find details on:
- CAC - Citizens Advisory Council. This organization
functions as a liaison between Unit District 5 and it's
community, encouraging public participation in education
planning.
- CEC - Consortium for Education Change. The consortium is
a statewide effort that includes over fifty school district
partners all working together to make a positive change in
teaching and student achievement.
- DAC - Diversity Advisory Council. This is a
standing Superintendent's committee that studies diversity
related topics and planning.
- PTO - Parent/Teacher Organizations. A full list of all
PTO's in the district and the corresponding links to those
organizations.
