Building Technologist Meeting Schedule

Unit 5's IT Department coordinates and supplies several levels of support to the Teachers and Staff of Unit 5. Our front line in each school is the Building Technologist.

Building Technologists operate in concert with the staff in their buildings and the IT department to identify and address support issues. They are usually capable of dealing with minor support issues on their own, assisting the IT department with larger or more difficult support issues, and in coordinating with the building staff and the IT department any new hardware or software additions to the building when needed.

Building Technologists are stipend staff members that volunteer to assist their buildings and the IT department in ensuring the smooth operation of hardware and software within their facility. This is in addition to their normal teaching or administrative duties. Their efforts are greatly appreciated by the IT department and by the staff members they assist.

Below you will find a list of the various Building Technologists and their school of responsibility. Staff members in these buildings should, when possible and practical, seek the assistance of a Building Technologist when they encounter a minor computer related problem.
